Use the requests library (or httpx) with an HTTP proxy URL for your Proxy Charm workspace.

Setup

Copy credentials from the dashboard

Sign in to Proxy Charm and open Proxies. Copy the host, port, username, and password for your workspace.

Set proxies on the session

Example with requests:

proxies = {
    "http": "http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@zephyr.proxy.rlwy.net:15112",
    "https": "http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@zephyr.proxy.rlwy.net:15112",
}

response = requests.get("https://api.ipify.org", proxies=proxies, timeout=30)
print(response.text)

Check the printed IP

It should match the exit shown in the dashboard for that username.
