Replacing IPs
A replace swaps the residential address behind your workspace. Your credentials do not move.
What stays the same
- The host and port you connect to.
- Your workspace username and password.
- The assignment id shown on Proxies.
What changes
- The residential exit IP address.
- Sometimes the city, if no address is free in the old one.
Reconnect your client
Long-lived connections keep using the old exit until they close. Drop the connection pool and open a new connection to pick up the replacement.
